Svantaggi
Managers are entry level and lack the emotional and career experience to lead their employees. The micro management is unrelenting, meaning your work is tracked each day, throughout the day. The work load is unreasonable, meaning working 11-12 hour days performing mostly to do blue collar work, correcting problems created by merchandising - who have no accountability - which is then followed up with mindless administrative and tracking reports that really have little to no value. Most salespeople are blamed and even written up for factors that are beyond their control - poor or nonexistent merchandising, late or missed delivery, wrong items being delivered or not being delivered at all or wrong or missing vital information given from management. Once management has targeted an employee for whatever reason, they are pushed to the brink of either quitting or being fired for either wrong information or cases that are built up to push employees out the door. There is no long term employment with this company. Systems such as merchandising and delivery are fundamentally flawed and remain unchanged. The pay is actually quite low for the immense amount of work that is required for this job. There is no work/life balance at this company. Additionally, there is very little chance for advancement, unless you play heavy politics and favoritism. Throwing your co-workers under the bus and taking their ideas also helps advance these new managers up the ranks.
