There are no pros to this place. They were horrible, awful people who didn't know what they were getting themselves into and they failed because of that and their selfish tendencies.

Rice Paddy has ended operation a long time ago and that's presumably because every person who had once loved the place and considered it a top destination in Georgetown had changed their minds to the polar opposite when the new owners had taken over. The food was cheap and overpriced, the owners were very unfair and selfish toward their employees, and the owners continuously took shortcuts in order to save money and charge more for food. There were absolutely no opportunities to advance at this place. I wanted to work the night shift since I had started, but I was discouraged by a co-worker and told "You'll have to work here and be really good at it for at least two years before Rich and Nancy let you work the night shift.". Honestly I don't care to work in a restaurant at all, especially if I can't even make any money and I'll be treated so poorly as I was at this place. The thing is that I was desperate for money to move to New York. I wanted to move so badly so that I could be 650+ miles away from people like these. It's a good thing Rice Paddy had shut down because their working conditions are absolutely revolting. No one should have to work in a place like Rice Paddy.
