Don't fall for the "We're a family company" and the classic " We're looking someone that can grow with the company" When you first join. All this means is.. we don't want to pay you very much for your talent. Get ready to spend some years of your life to get a small raise while new people joining get more pay. Tips for new employees joining the web department, maybe look into working at In-N-Out Or Trader Joes because the pay will probably be higher.
