Vantaggi
I had the chance to go through a few certificate courses and can now use them in future jobs. Taught me what to look for in future employers.
Svantaggi
Instantly expects you to work longer hours and more than 5 days a week, and do not like hearing "no" After only working there 3 weeks I was already being asked to work on a Saturday after already working Monday to Friday. 12 hour work days are not irregular here, they are frequent. The culture is negative and not forgiving. If you make a mistake you do not hear the end of it and will be embarrassingly called out in front of the whole company during the mandatory unpaid Monday meetings. You will be "volunteered" told to show up for events on the weekends, For example, the annual Citywide event Doors Open. If you have previous plans and somehow manage to get out of something you will be looked down upon. The fact that they want to look good on the outside is very true but will always sacrifice any employees time and expect you to always say yes. Many of the members in management don't actually know how to manage people or have people skills for that matter. The number of negative things said to your face from certain managers is way too high and builds a very unfriendly work environment.
