It was initially exciting to work on book projects that aligned with my passions. I was hopeful this would be a meaningful and professional collaboration. On the plus side, I was able to make my own hours so work/life balance was perfect.

Unfortunately, this experience was anything but professional. I was under a signed contract, but payments were delayed... or never delivered as promised. That is a serious breach of trust and honestly, respect. Additionally, boundaries were repeatedly crossed—conversations meant to be about work veered into personal and emotional topics, making the environment uncomfortable and unstable.

You get paid monthly at $30 an hour for every billable hour and the owner, Luis Ramirez, is being investigated for insurance fraud. He has had clinicians without permits seeing clients and had licensed clinicians see clients they weren’t credentialed for with their insurances. The owner also gossips about your coworkers to you and has sent a video of his business partner in the lobby to other clinicians, because he also has cameras in the lobby and hallways that record video and audio that go to his phone. They’ll probably be shut down within the year because of the investigations
