Thoroughly enjoy the culture and the flexibility that Riskworx provides. The people are great and supportive with a fun yet productive office environment. The company invests in their people and their experiences and organises a lot of team events. Supports further learning/certificates.

Doesn't have global offices for long term moves however does allow remote working temporarily.

Many of my colleagues have extensive experience in financial risk management (both credit and market risk), even at the highest levels. Riskworx provides multiple learning opportunities and flexibility in your choice thereof - bursaries are readily provided. Nice office at Workshop17 in Sandton, with a de facto "work from anywhere" policy. Recently Riskworx has introduced an open leave incentive, meaning there's no upper bound to our annual days off.

You may find yourself "on the bench" as contracts are not always in place for all the consultants, which may be frustrating. Basic salaries at all but the highest levels (LFE and PFE) are not competitive with the major banks - this is a fact we are expressly told. Many people have been leaving, but not owing to a toxic culture. No benefits in the salary package but the company connects us with brokers and subscribes to the counselling service ICAS.
