- leadership asks for feedback and then pushes back on any feedback provided - marketing leadership genuinely seems to be faking their expertise and doesnt know how to manage team - every single thing is urgent. Everything. - there is no such thing as prioritization or planning - marketing leadership will constantly ask for things last minute - marketing leader will be late to every single meeting booked with you or anyone else - marketing leader will push back on foundational concepts within the function. Ego preservation is the most important thing in the department - marketing leadership will put all upwards pressure onto team members. I could go on for hours. Marketing leadership at this company is some of the worst I've ever seen. Don't expect to learn. Don't expect to receive inputs for anything. Don't expect leadership to follow through on any committments. If you are in marketing and looking to land a role, I would not accept a role at Riva until marketing leadership changes.
