I really enjoyed the one day off each quarter that they gave for mental health.

The entire executive team talks waaaay down to women and do not consider them as equals. The CEO especially seems to have a major problem with this. The one woman who is on the executive team does nothing to support or elevate other women, but instead feels threatened and turns to belittling. I have never been talked down to or dismissed more than any other company I've ever worked at. Beyond that, expect that the CEO and CPO will literally dive into presentations you have built and start to change them without even considering your thoughts. You will be disparaged by the for the color of a font you chose in a PowerPoint. This is the level of micromanagement you should expect. The ethics of the leadership team are extremely concerning and I've seen them do the worst possible things to keep customers and to make numbers look better than they actually are. There is no ability to sell the product and the sales team literally sells nothing. The product does not compete in the market, is extremely outdated, and there is no marketing support behind it. Marketing's idea of bolstering sales is posting Spotify playlists on LinkedIn with songs from the 1970's to represent the last time Rival was relevant. If you are interviewing for a sales job here ask when the last person hit quota who was not selling to an existing customer. The current sales leadership is disastrous with a CRO who has no understanding of the business and uses 1980's sales tactics to threaten and bully those around him. He was brought in as an expert and the guy who was going to fix everything. Instead, he brought in a team of extremely low caliber, sleazy salespeople who all have the same outdated approaches he has. Customer service serves as a "yes sir" function to the CEO, has no independent thoughts and has no ability to service clients. The CSM team is burnt out and frustrated trying to save customers continually walking out the door to Workday or other point solutions that are actually relevant, but more and more is dumped on them while they are blamed for churn they cannot control. It is mind boggling why this executive team has not been fired (especially the CEO) and how this company continues to exist. Rival reminds me of that last, horrid smelling gas that comes out of a corpse right before it's death.
