I was hired for full-time work but did not receive 40 hours consistently due to a lack of available work. The recruiter who assigned me the job instructed me to inform them of any issues, but when I did, I was told without warning that I would not be continuing with that job assignment. This was a remote job, and the manager assigned to us was consistently rude and dismissive. I
professionally defended myself from the manager's inappropriate comments and was unfairly labeled troublesome. Despite my efforts to communicate my availability weekly, Robert Half did not find me another remote position. I attempted to request a different recruiter to help me find work, but my request was not granted. The original recruiter misled me by promising open communication, which was not upheld. Most of the time, my messages to recruiters were unanswered, resulting in no follow-up. I hold myself to a standard where I will not tolerate being disrespected by colleagues or supervisors. I value mutual respect in all my interactions.
