The team environment can be quite toxic at times due to frequent gossiping. The culture is quite political, some teams I have come across are quite judgmental and gossipy. It’s so hypocritical, please look at the mirror before criticising others as well, because everyone has flaws- you are also not perfect. Also people just can’t act like adults and be direct in communicating their unhappiness and instead dropping subtle hints expecting others to read between the lines. Some colleagues tend to focus more on others’ flaws rather than fostering a supportive and positive culture. It creates unnecessary tension and a vibe that does not sit well. Because of this the culture is not very positive.
