Great benefit package with the state of Minnesota. I am single so I only have a 120 deducible for medical for the entire year! I can't speak to what the family plan is like but I am sure it is also pretty competitive. I am part of the AFSCME union which is great and always there to help me with issues.

The atmosphere at RCTC can be rocky at times and there are a lot of employees that like to spread rumors and cause drama. However, if you are like me and just keep you head down it doesn't bother you too much. I guess the major con to RCTC is that they don't take very good care of their facilities. This year a bunch of people had to be moved because of mold in East Hall and Health Sciences. Sounds like it has been an ongoing issue for more then a decade and they haven't taken initiative to fix the issue.
