Extremely conservative company, so much so that it can be difficult to be effective if funding or resources are not available. Not many chances to grow above a certain level internally since mid level managers have been in their roles for 20+ years and won't transition until retirement. Most people have to leave the company to get opportunities and skills needed to advance their careers. Lower than average base salary compared to competitors.
