I appreciate this and the stable, non-threatening, consistent environment fostered in the culture of the company. It’s very hard to overestimate the value of liking and enjoying the team of people around you.

Rockwell is a 114 year old engineering firm with a culture to match. The management structure is rigid and immovable; it’s set up by seniority and structured to move people up every 3-5 years and that’s just enough incentive to keep upwardly mobile employees willing to stay at the company vs seeking other lateral, better-paying jobs with other firms.
