Where to begin. I was hired for a clearly defined role, yet from the outset there was a complete absence of management structure. As a result, my responsibilities were gradually and significantly altered without formal consultation or contractual amendment. Notably, I was never provided with a written job description within 2 months of being hired, despite requesting one many times! which allowed duties to be changed at will without legal clarity or accountability. The ONLY benefit advertised for the role (Bupa healthcare) was never provided, even after passing the six-month eligibility mark. HR is consistently disorganised, reactive rather than supportive, and lacks any basic level of empathy or professionalism. Throughout my employment, I received no regular check-ins, no structured feedback, and only a single formal conversation regarding my role / performance. The company culture around employee wellbeing is very concerning. When informing management and HR that I was unwell, taking immense medication with an infection and asked to work from home, I was told that if I wanted time to recover and still be paid, I should use my annual leave. This response alone speaks volumes about how staff are valued. TO NOTE: At the company's discretion your sick leave/pay may be taken away as punishment potentially for being late or if they believe you have taken sick days too close together. Senior leadership — managing director— demonstrated a pattern of avoidance when accountability was required. Firstly only being in the office twice a week coming in at 11 and barely giving anyone the time of day. Rather than addressing structural issues, unclear roles, or management failures, responsibility was consistently deflected downward. My termination felt less like a fair process and more like the final outcome of prolonged mismanagement, poor communication, and a refusal to formalise decisions properly. Was told for 6 months Id move into the role I was hired for and wanted, shown a family tree of the employee shift, then once they had found someone to replace me for the work I was conducting - they cut me out, no prior administrative hearing, told to leave immediately and not even have a moment to gather my work to show for myself. Overall, this is an organisation that operates in grey areas: unclear roles, shifting expectations, in the ground HR standards, and leadership that avoids ownership or any structure. I would STRONGLY advise prospective employees to REQUEST EVERYTHING IN WRITING — including job descriptions, benefits, and expectations — BEFORE accepting an offer. Also to note, there are NO EOY bonuses, NO yearly salary increases, no prospects for a future career, and no consideration for honesty or transparency. They will use and abuse you. You've been warned.
