Don’t get attached to your managers because you’re at risk of being bounced around 5 different times in a given year. Don’t get too attached to your job, either, because you might get laid off and not find out about it until 5 minutes into a company wide meeting. Circling back to management, while most were generally nice a lot in my department needed a lot more training. Imagine having to train your own supervisor on things they should’ve already known. CEO doesn’t care. You’re just another cog in the machine and as soon as profits dip below a certain point you’re at risk of losing livelihood— especially if you’re in an entry level position. Oh, and the management will lie to you about job security, so save your breath asking them for reassurance.
