-Free fruit. - Free on site car parking. - Close to the railway station if you commute. - They were open to salary negotiation after offering the role, going above the advertised band. - Mid level managers were approachable and always happy to listen (though completely unable to react to feedback due to their own managers). - After probation, working hours can be adjusted to suit your life.

- Ridiculously high staff turnover. I quit after 6 months, and was the 12th employee to leave during my time there. For perspective, there were 36 members of staff at the time of my departure. - The condescending attitude of many (not all) long term employees has created a them vs us split. A simple example of this attitude was when I saw an issue raised highlighting the software doesn't prevent duplicate names of an item and the "answer" was "The solution to this is simple. Don't do it". - The regard the probationary period is held in. The number of times I heard sentences of "when you pass your probationary" or "after 6 months...". It can be seen as very excluding. Everywhere I've worked has this as a formality in case of a poor employee. Roscom have this to easily fire an employee and only pay a weeks notice. - One ex-colleague was put back on probation after almost a year of employment. They were promptly then fired. During their paternity leave. By letter. - One ex colleague was was fired/"failed" probation at the end of the 6 months. While he was on annual leave. By letter. - The culture is definitely one where it's expected staff do more work shackled to their desk. Having a break is discouraged resulting in quick burnout. - Despite all work being possible by VPN and the product itself being related to networking, there are no work from home possibilities. - During training, I was told to not give any answers such as "Hi X, Sorry to hear of your issue. We looked into this and found XYZ wasn't configured. We have now fixed this for you." but instead to just say "Fixed.". For clarity, I was hired to fulfil a customer service role. - The questionable ethics of the company. I was asked to maintain a document which contained the equipment customers had purchased to establish a total value of the product. However, there is no price list for any of the products; they charge whatever they can get away with. Similarly, despite knowing a customer wasn't in possession of 3 products, the customer was still charged as if they did have them. The customer wasn't aware the products weren't installed. - Having a desk close to the senior managements office results in you being exposed to regular profanity and patronising comments regarding customers.
