Vantaggi
Decent clothing allowance, nice couches
Svantaggi
Most of Rouje's clothing is not much better quality than your basic fast fashion retailer. Though it pretends to be, the company is not at all environmentally friendly or size-inclusive, nor is there health insurance for anyone or PTO for most employees. While not explicitly racist, their new concealer line's darkest shade available would be a medium tone in most makeup brands' skin tone spectrum, which speaks enough for itself...
Besides the clothing allowance, there are no real benefits to the workplace or opportunities for career progression. Even the monthly bonus is a scam from upper management designed to make employees work harder for no reward. The brand is essentially a cult to a skinny white French woman whose taste is no more interesting than the average millennial born into some money. You could pick a 19 year old fashion student off the street of NY and they would almost definitely have a better and more unique vision for design and trendsetting. Since its founding, the brand has been overtaken and outperformed by every one of its vintage-inspired Euro it-girl competitors (Realisation Par, Sezane, With Jean, etc) and as these brands have grown much larger, do better on social media, know trends more intimately, and have better design sensibilities, Rouje has no real way of recovering. It is only losing money and relevance and I predict it will go out of business completely in the next five years
