None really. The only potential one was the bonus structure for the GM but it isn’t even possible to hit. After almost 8 months open, the location I worked at only had 230 members. They also have created a way to make it look like they’re are more members than there really are in their own software which you pay them only 7% of top line revenue for the privilege to use. Everything! In short, do not work here as a manager and PLEASE do not buy a location. It’s not really Row House, it’s Xponential. They have created a way to syphon the money of the franchisees by selling a “business opportunity” whose numbers are so far from reality it is ridiculous. To hit their numbers you would need around 800 members within 10 months of opening. At a 25 person max class only studio this is not even possible. The sad thing is the GM always gets blamed although the reality is that the concept was flawed from the outset. A number of GMs have been blindsided by being fired because Xpo simply tells the franchisee “you aren’t hitting the numbers bc of the GM” , so then it becomes an inevitable churn of GMs until the location fails and they force the sale of the location to the next sucker. It’s crazy how Xpo has been able to get away with this over and over with so many brands. How they find these people to pony up 300k (my location cost more than 2x that to open) to open up a class based studio is crazy. But hey they take you to Vegas!!! And you get to tell everyone how cool you are with your new business! Lol. It won’t be so funny however when you cant pay your home equity loan they encouraged you to take out and you lose your house to Row House. If you think I’m joking, do some research into Pure Barre which is the same exact result, just been under the Xpo banner a bit longer.
