Lots of editorial freedom and flexibility for creativity & ideas. We have more holidays off than other news outlets and decent health insurance.

Egregious COVID policies that make no sense whatsoever, management is wishy-washy about nearly everything--will give you yearly goals but sometimes shoot down your ideas. The volume of work does not amount to adjusted living raises or salary. Lots of people burn out easily. People will treat you weirdly when they find out you work for a Russian affiliated company so be prepared to have a Scarlet letter on you at all times especially if you live and work in DC. Toxic and misogynistic work culture. Lots of harassment gets swept under the rug.
