Good training in my department because our manager recognized that there really is no school that teaches paint making. Made life-long friends. As at any place, tensions run high but generally everyone worked together. Incompetent supervisors eventually went away.

Long hours (12 hour days plus overtime). It was, for so many years, the perfect place to work with 3 shifts and some weekends of OT, but when it went to 12 hours it became hard. 12 hrs in such a harsh chemical environment can affect health and morale.
