Pay is decent but it is not competitive with the top companies at silicon valley, so most employees leave Ariba. Although the work culture at SAP teams is good but Ariba has difficulty adopting those values. Benefits 2% salary raise every year (not great). 401k from vanguard - matching of 75% for upto 6%. Good Health insurance. Own SAP. Employee Stock Purchase can be improved. Instead of giving stocks like a subsidy, which only raises an employee's tax bracket, the stock could be given at a discount. RSU benfit at SAP is a joke. It is just peanuts.

There are reorgs constantly happening throughout Ariba all the time. Something starts failing exactly on Friday afternoon. Some engineers recklessly checkin major changes in the last moment(just before the release) causing major impact, on everyone's code. No Growth -- You will be stuck with a role/set of responsibilities for the rest of your employment period. So when an employee leaves, rest of the employees have to share the responsibilities, instead of hiring another employee. No Encouragement from manager/ Appreciation, for the extra responsibilities handled. Slow in adopting the latest technologies.
