The supervisors will give you a lot control over projects-depending on which supervisor you are under. If you express your desire in a area you are interested in, they will most likely steer you in that direction. You have the opportunity to mingle with other departments and exchange knowledge. More importantly, the leadership here is honest, straightforward, and open. And they respect their employees and want them to grow. In terms of design, they put a lot of attention to details and construction aspect of architecture. So if you demonstrate that you are good at that, it'll probably be a plus.
