This company is the antithesis to innovation and a poster child for everything that is currently wrong in the automotive sector. They (Sokon) came here to take as much as they can back home while at the same time having a nice place to funnel some offshore dollars. Seres (also known as SF Motors and Sokon in China) bought a plant they can’t use while also having major over capacity at home, lots of promises made for US jobs but of course nothing will be made here any time soon. All this looks good on paper when reported to the CCP (that’s how they get more cash to spend) Their first vehicle is heavily based on reverse engineered and dare I say in some cases possibly even misappropriated tech. It’s sad to see that to this day this is allowed to happen. Their current US CEO is a washed out (failure) from another Chinese funded train wreck, Karma Auto. He acts mostly as a puppet for the Chairman. If you want to work here you should leave your morals at home, unless you already don’t have any.......
