SET has the most toxic work environment. There is no work life balance and you are expected to be on call all hours of the day/night and even on the weekends. You are only allowed 3 WFH days a YEAR, sick days are STRONGLY discouraged--you will end up working anyways. There is a blackout period in November where no employees are allowed to take a single day off even if there is important events. There is a lack of inclusion and diversity at SET, it is mostly white women. The is favoritism at the company is absolutely real. The favorites at the company are promoted on an expedited track and if you are not a favorite you have no chance at being promoted and the CEO will find a reason to fire you if she doesn't like you. The CEO has no clear understanding of how to run a company and is completely unprofessional most of the time. There is constant criticism and even if there is something that goes right there is no praise or gratitude. She has no problem calling anyone out publicly in an inappropriate manner if there was a mistake or something that went wrong. You will spend a majority of your time at SET putting in 150% effort and it still not being enough. There is zero creative freedom at SET, the CEO shuts down any creative idea that is not her own or will steal employees ideas and present it as her own. The employee turnover at the company is so high but it's not a surprise given the toxic environment. Working for this company is not worth the deterioration of your mental health--do not accept a job from this company.
