Working in this sector is very difficult.

Ability to help people who are dealing with substance abuse, mental health and homelessness. Get to meet people from different walks of life and will push your recovery further.

Management does not appreciate their employees. Extremely high turnover, at the time I worked there many people were fired some without good cause. Also asked to work beyond 5th hour mark without proper compensation. OT had to be approved by a supervisor which is hard to do when a meeting ends at 9:30 pm but does not want to leave the building and you need to lock the facility at 10:00 pm. Billing is a priority but they scramble at the end of the fiscal year to get it accomplished making it stressful for employees. Have witnessed inappropriate conduct from supervisors and CEO towards their employees.
