Good company - Recensione dipendente - Behavior Therapist presso SMLC Behavioral Therapy

All of my coworkers are great and even the parents.

The pay was not equal or have a low salary because if you don't have a session, you also don't have a salary. The company mostly got 80% of the profit on which the therapist were the ones who are taking care and teaching kids which is very difficult to handle sometimes because of their cases. We also do not have government mandated benefits.

Made life long friends but unfortunately it doesn't pay the bills.

No benefits. Nothing. Commission based - base rate before I left was 360 per session. You can apply for a raise every 6 months - but you need to have 6 months worth of feedback from your clients, pass the monthly exams, and trainings. Company is very client centered. Also, the "training" and "seminars" they give is just pure bull* always talking about passion and helping children as if trying to guilt trip you to accept the unfair wages.
