I think the only pro would be that you get to meet a lot of people that are alike in the sense of having a SUD problem but other than that, I can’t think of any pros

The management is terrible. His ego is bigger than God only knows what and he rules with an iron fist. If you make one little mistake God forbid you do you get written up for every little thing that you do wrong but when you do right, you’re not rewarded for it. There’s a lot of employee burnout due to management and there is a lot of gossip and I don’t think that they work as a team they all act as if they are better than the people that they’re serving, but in all actuality, they’re the same. They have just been sober and now they’re given a chance to be in a position of say power and they act like they’re better than the people that come through the doors and I don’t like that it’s not OK I’ve never felt OK with what has happened in that org but I just don’t think that it’s a good place for anyone to work just because there’s so much gossip and management is horrible and you get written up for literally everything that you do wrong it’s not a good place to start out if you’re looking to become a peer support specialist, I would go elsewhere. I would look elsewhere. There is a lot of people in this area that could benefit from a different organization opening because this one is not ran the way it’s supposed to be.
