Great Company - Recensione dipendente - Design Engineer presso SRAM

Cultural understanding that life sometimes interrupts traditional work hours. Views employees as people with needs outside of the workplace. Everyone celebrates company successes.

Below market pay. Pay is not scaled based on location. Inconsistent about company policies (i.e. working from home). Might feel a little left out if you are not an avid cyclist.

In general, SRAM is very easy going and it's an environment that isn't confrontational or competitive. Leadership is focused on employees and is very approachable. I feel a lot of security in my job and that I'd have a job here forever if I choose to stay. There's a lot of professional autonomy.

For being a larger company, there's no structure for teaching employees how to do a job or process. They are trying to create some structure, but most processes are half-baked and not detailed enough to actually do it correctly. Leadership is really nice, but is lacking the "leadership" qualities that facilitate departments sharing information, best practices and growth. If I want to grow and learn, I need to seek out my own training.
