You can gain good industry experience by working hard and bringing in new accounts in a industry that is now obsolete by offshore sourcing. The work environment was professional and coworkers were nice

The one thing I wish I knew going in is that the management team is comprised of the owners old friends or relatives. The nanny is the sales manager, the owners old friend is the GM, and the owner has complete control over every aspect. The pay is minimal, there is NO opportunity for advancing above account representative, everyone walks on eggshells as the owner and sales manager stroll the isles making sure everyone is doing their job, and was told not to ask about commissions from the beginning. You have to work out of Cincinnati even if your territory is Texas so the owner can make sure you are doing your job so be prepared to go to the airport every other week. They have a few VP's that control the bigger accounts in your territory that they manage and you cannot sell to them or reap the "commissions" for them even if they haven't seen the account or sold them anything
