Those who are looking to apply now, they no longer support hybrid or remote roles. If you are near their offices and can commit to working 5 days in-person, good for you but be prepared for parking expenses etc out of your own pocket. There is no healthy structure for promotion and growth. If one is in a remote position and looking to become a higher role, they have to apply for that role as a new contract and sadly forfeit their remote status. Either way, it’s a trap. I don’t know how managers are getting sold into this—they outright said they don’t agree with how things are being managed lately but usually resigned to their own fate and wrap up the conversation with ‘it is what it is’.

Living in a bubble. They still think they are in the 90s. The thinking is painstakingly slow. Senior management including VPs and senior VPs are extremely inbred in their thinking. They are all perfectly aligned in completely wrong direction. They do the bare minimum and some cannot even hold a decent intellectual conversation. There is a ton of favoritism and only yes men get promoted so everyone is ‘aligned’. If you want to do mundane level thinking and kill your creativity and innovative spirit join this company. It has gotten worse in the last few years. Those currently there are dying to leave but just hanging by the last thread just because the current market is so tight that there is nowhere to go. The senior execs are there for 15-20 years no because they are loyal but because they know they cannot find any other employer who would tolerate their slow thinking.
