Although you have the opportunity to be home every night/day, some routes do not permit that. It's better than being OTR but some weeks you are not able to spend quality time with your family. Seniority drivers have it made while new hire drivers, out of training, are sent on long/layover routes. You feel more like a number than a valued employee.
