THE COMPANY (TOXIC WORKING CULTURE) - 100% red flag since I got in just through one time phone call (my mistake for not recognizing this red flag earlier, but they will promise you so many things but will act differently once you got into the company). - The company manipulated the offer letter signed by the employees. They often say something very different from what was stated in the offer letter, and when you stand up for your rights, they blame you for misinterpreting what they said during the interview. - They terminated one of the live hosts because they were unable to come to the office due to getting into an accident. The termination was done without any warning letter and was only communicated via WhatsApp, stating, "You've broken the promise of attending the office. I know it's an accident, but you have been in two accidents in just a month." They added, "We don't need people like you." The staff member was terminated solely because of an accident they didn't choose to be in, which was unfair. - MICROMANAGE MICROMANAGE MICROMANAGE!!!! - They won't provide you with any SOPs or training but expect good results from you. They will always say to your face, "I'm disappointed with your working attitude," if you did not achieve good results due to their incompetence in not providing ANY of the SOPs for all positions in the company. - They offer you a high salary and hire you for a specific position that you've applied for, but once you're in the company, you'll end up doing 2 or 3 other jobs. They advertised the position as Live Host, but they'll expect you to do content creation which is not in the job scope once you're hired . If you ask for a raise or negotiate for a higher salary because of the additional responsibilities beyond your job scope, they'll start gaslighting you, threatening termination, and saying that this place isn't suitable for you. - It will be unpaid leave (even if you have MC from the clinic) during your probation period. Take note: Even if you're on your probation period, you are eligible for Sick Leave. - THIS COMPANY DOES NOT HAVE HR TO BEGIN WITH SO YOU NEED TO FIGHT FOR YOURSELF. THE SO CALLED DIRECTOR (manipulative, gaslighter, liar) - The boss didn't even know what a cut-off salary means, which is something basic that a company should know. The boss deducts your salary without providing a proper reason. They deduct your salary if you don't achieve your KPI (THIS WAS NOT MENTIONED IN THE OFFER LETTER). Furthermore, the payslip is not detailed enough to explain why your salary was reduced. - The boss approved your request to work from home but still deducted your salary because you weren't in the office. It's confusing why they approved your work-from-home arrangement in the first place if they were going to deduct your salary. - The boss did not even know your job scope and expect good results from you. If you ask on what to do next, he won't answer because he doesn't even know about the job. They promised you for orientation and training but nothing from them. THE MANAGER (RUDE, ALWAYS COMPLAIN TO BOSS ABOUT YOU, CANNOT MANAGE PEOPLE AT ALL) - The marketing manager is really rude by cursing and using vulnerable words such as 'F' word during the meeting. Very unprofessional and rude. - The manager is really bad at managing people and will always complain about the staffs to the boss (THE BOSS IS VERY BIASED SO HE WON'T ASK WHAT HAPPENED AND JUST SIMPLY SEND YOU A WARNING TEXT WITHOUT ANY PROPER COMMUNICATION) - TOO EMOTIONAL AND ALWAYS CURSE OUT OF NOWHERE. Cannot handle the stress there and will project it to all the employees. - The manager's choice of words when speaking to employees is really poor. He told one of the Live Hosts that she's a 'pick me girl' for wearing a dark outfit, which he believes is not suitable for the livestream. He should have worded it nicely but chose to say something very unnecessary to the employees.
