It would be nice to receive more detailed feedback instead of an auto rejection with a generic response after 2 interviews. The CEO was ill-prepared for the interview as he barely seemed to know my name and definitely did not even review my CV before hand. The interview questions were things like "what makes a decent person?". How is that relevant to company cultural fit or a determination of my commercial product management skills? Truly, all the best to folks who can even get through 6(!) rounds of interviews! Why are people who are not skilled product managers (and have never even been product managers) involved in hiring product managers? Are CEOs not busy running the business? And shouldn't they trust their people to do make the right hires?
