Terrible hours averaged 6am to 6pm M-Sat. Weekends are basically mandatory with the schedules they give you that are behind when you start. Your job on the PM side is to beat the subs down so hard then force them to do the work they didn’t include in their bid but you snuck into the contract. Hold a “bonus” out from the beginning of a project to try to get you to work longer hours and weekends to speed up the project. But if your project dips into profit you lose the bonus and worked added hours for a reduce hourly rate Samet paid to move me and my family down. But the hours were so bad I was only seeing my daughter on Sundays and every other Saturday when she lived with me it felt like. Not one senior manager said anything or asked me why or what they could do to make it better just took my three weeks and never said anything.

If you get your work done, you can work whatever hours you want. At some point, you will be assigned a cool project. Good career opportunity.

You are just a number here. They fired an employee of 30 years because they were eliminating positions that fed off overhead. Took them 7 years to tell an employee that they are meant for a different department, and when they declined to transfer, he was fired. Upper Management is cliquey, biased and makes emotional decisions that do not benefit the company or workplace. Favorite employees in the clique get unfair treatment. Project Bonuses are no longer a thing. The VP of construction is brilliant but inappropriate. They incorrectly leverage behavioral tests to try to decide your career path for you, when in fact, the test results are really meant to advise on how the individual should be managed and communicated with. Constantly losing subcontractors. They put managers in positions of leadership. They provide employees with the cheapest possible PPE & Equipment (ironic since safety is a "core value". Its a large management company who cant even manage to: keep printers functional, keep their best workers, keep their employee's happy, terminations clean, employees engaged in extracurricular activities, or execute their core values.
