Vantaggi
Aggressive payroll, significant funding for necessary equipment, competent engineering staff (at least for the AI team). Good physical health practitioners on site to help deal with the sedentary routine.
Svantaggi
The stance regarding the COVID-19 situation was borderline inhumane, delaying the home office for more than a week, requiring special monitoring software to block non-work related web traffic, and requiring a individual activity review each week for all employees (an email was sent telling people to not "slack off" on the first day of home office...) Human resources leadership is non-existent. Every single time I had to talk to a "important" HR person I was treated like someone that was personally attacking them. No one ever cared about my problems, no one ever listened, and I was humiliated and disrespected in public when talking to the HR's leadership. Complete and utter disrespect for the employee Extremely bureaucratic, Heavy hierarchy, Slow and archaic process development, Too formal (the "no-dress code" is a lie). Bad computers (specially for a technology company). Health care is only useful for the higher ups (national plan + pharmaceutical reimbursement). Windows as the default OS. Only cares about results (absolutely no regard for your sanity and mental health) Zero tolerance for delays, extra hours or faults (factory rules), Highly competitive environment, you need to have an eye on the back No tolerance for anything non-work related ("If you get called for a presentation on a conference, do you go on work hours? No because we don't pay you to be giving presentations while you should be working" -> said by a significantly higher up person on my first day) No learning environment, no one shares knowledge (there is a presentation once every blue moon just to say that it exists). Not a friendly work environment (people don't seem to talk to one another) You're expected to work exactly 8h24min per day, to be punched at the beginning and end of your work routine, however, if you have a higher enough job, you're freed from such restrictions, making a heavily unbalanced work place (freedom only for the higher ups)
