Friendly employees (at least when people where working together at an office) Fairly relaxed work environment No dress code, employees can wear what they want No checking your internet usage, no one watching you if you check your phone from time to time. They respect their employees as adults and believe they will get their projects done on time Great for people starting out in the translation industry Good benefits when it comes to time off and pay if ill

Small chance for career advancement Management seems to not care about employee morale Management seems to not try and hold on to brilliant employees, instead spending money training new ones which means they end up spending more in the long run. Over a course of a few years saw how the new leadership began to depersonalise the company; from taking employee photos off the website, to opening a office in Bulgaria to save on UK salaries (which were already pretty low), to revamping the website into one that was bland and uninteresting. Finally STP/Sandberg once prided themselves on being a high quality company, but experiences between freelances and the Bulgarian office shows this quality has slipped. Finally, the company now seems to be about branding and image, rather than the substance of having a good core of lovely, brilliant and close knit employees who believe in the company and want to make it succeed.
