Poor communication and culture allowed for finger pointing and blaming as well as extreme favoritism. Other employees were afforded opportunities and forgiveness in situations others were not. Siloing of information not just between departments but within teams left little insight into the activities of others. Underperformers were consistently excused for poor work and even worse behavior. The expectation was for others to pick up the work, no questions asked and perform the responsibilities of 2 employees with no questions asked.
