"Fast-paced" is a joke - that just means that upper management refuses to define the company's mission and goals, and has little ability to create a plan and follow through on it. As a result, nearly 6 years after forming with the stated goal of being a cloud service provider to take on the likes of AWS and Rackspace with a much more upscale offering, they still have no viable cloud offering and can hardly be considered a cloud company. They're not much more than a glorified colo - impressive facility with some managed services, but that's about it. What managed services they do offer suffer from repeated issues and outages - NOT due to the efforts of those managing them, but because management leans heavily toward brand name over technology or quality. Sales is overstaffed, IT is understaffed. No defined structure - you never really know who your boss is. No raises, few benefits, no personnel reviews or guidance. They'll make a passing comment one day about how great you're doing and then fire you the next when they get bored and decide to move on to something new.

Management: The company is incredibly slow at doing anything. Feels like every little thing requires upper management buy in. They are great to work with though. Career growth: There's no annual performance review or salary increase. Promotions are hard to come by. Your direct manager will push for you to get promoted within the company, but there's simply no positions available. They used to offer Udemy for employees, but that's gone so you don't even have access to that for learning on your own. They offer no incentives to get certified, nor do they offer certification reimbursements. Duty: They say it's a great place to learn IT, but 90% of tickets are out of scope of the department by policy. Most tickets only require you to relay messages from clients to engineers. Outside of that, you'll be running cables, performing network tests (Layer 1 - 3 only). Network troubleshooting is limited to Layer 1 and sometimes Layer 2. Pay: They pay used to be two whole dollars above minimum ($17/hr) for a while. Then the minimum wage got raised to $17.50/hr. So you'll be making minimum wage. No, you won't get paid more for graveyard shift either. Scheduling: No fixed schedules. You might start in Swing Shift, but you'll get rotated through each shift eventually. Shift rotations happen about once a quarter.
