Vantaggi
Very little pros. If you’re looking for an entry level position where you are eligible to receive benefits after some time and have a stable income, this is the right fit for you. If you’re looking for a genuine and supportive, work environment, move along.
Svantaggi
Scientific Search presents itself as a fast-paced, high-performing recruiting firm, but my experience revealed a work environment that is far more challenging than advertised. While the role offered exposure to recruiting and sales processes, the day-to-day culture was marked by constant tension, pressure, and a lack of psychological safety.
The environment felt rigid and highly micromanaged, with little room for learning, growth, or honest dialogue. Expectations were often unclear, yet accountability was intense, creating a culture where mistakes were met with criticism rather than coaching. Support and training felt minimal, which made success difficult—especially for those newer to the field. Over time, this atmosphere took a noticeable emotional toll and contributed to a sense of burnout rather than professional development.
Leadership appeared deeply set in its ways, resistant to feedback, and unwilling to reflect on why turnover and dissatisfaction persist. While the company frequently responds publicly to negative reviews on platforms like this one, these responses are more performative than genuine & focused on reputation management rather than meaningful change. The recurring nature of the same concerns across reviews suggests a pattern that is acknowledged outwardly but not addressed internally. Don’t let their responses fool you like they did me!
This role may suit individuals who thrive in high-pressure, uncompromising environments with minimal guidance. However, for those seeking mentorship, collaboration, balance, and a healthier workplace culture, this may not be the right fit. Nothing special, move along! There are endless possibilities and positions that are better out there that won’t cost you your mental health.
