- Too many managers, directors, and business leaders means the focus is always on finding new work and never on actually delivering a good product - Some positions have the title "Technical Lead" but most Technical Leads do all they can to avoid contributing in any way to technical work - Extremely disorganized and fragmented teams. In the vast majority of programs, SSCI simply acts as a middleman for companies doing the real innovation - Project leaders cycle between extreme micromanagement and complete abandonment of their project team - Executives seem to spend most of the day reading news articles and surfing through LinkedIn
