Vantaggi
The team I worked with was full of incredibly hardworking and helpful individuals. The paycheck showed up on time in the amount that it should. "Flexible time off" is a nice benefit - use it as much as you can.
Svantaggi
A corporate money machine in its purest form, operating under the typical façade that it's an amazing place to work that cares for its clients. It is clear that the goals of the company are to transition to AI and other automated systems to progressively cut off more and more employees and funnel money to the top. Layoffs are abundant each year and follow a pattern of occurring after company-wide all-hands meetings about how it "was our best quarter ever" and "awesome new technology" was developed. It does not matter how long you've worked there or how skilled you are at your job - you are vulnerable to getting cut at any moment. You will not get raises. Everyone in my department, some who have worked there for 8 or more years, frequently and openly brought this up during team meetings. Last year we were told "there will be merit-based raises at the end of quarter two." When the time came, there were no raises. Furthermore, there were no mention of raises and any transparency whatsoever around why they weren't brought up. It was only through my direct manager that I was told "the company is struggling to pay off loans." If they say there will be bonuses, you can expect a few hundred dollars at the end of each year, There is little support for professional development. Upper management rarely seeks any feedback and has directly stated on any feedback forms "please do not mention compensation."
