Regular workplace bullying from the HR leadership team in the UK. This included creating rumors about people and openly badmouthing junior staff in an open-plan office. One individual was repeatedly blamed for information leaks that were unrelated to them. Sadly, none of the HR leadership team will speak to the impacted employees about these accusations, they preferred to speak about them. This behavior was particularly prevalent from senior HR figures in Liverpool. This had such a bad impact on many people's mental health, I can't even describe how bad this made people feel. What was the solution when this was raised this with management? We were told just to ignore it and that nothing could be done. The leaks were actually coming from the two more senior HR Professionals based in London and through their respective hierarchies. No exit interview on leaving the company - they do not want constructive feedback. Some individuals were never spoken to again by the management team after they resigned. The leadership team is very immature, when there is a problem, they need someone to blame. As a result, they go around in circles endlessly looking for someone to blame and the actual issues are never addressed. You are not allowed to be inquisitive; line managers tell their staff to never question more senior staff. This has created a culture of fear, where nobody will provide feedback because of fear of repercussions. No internal development - all vacancies are filled externally.
