Vantaggi
Working at a Sears store is a pretty easy job to get and it is good if you can't find anything else, say maybe for like a summer. Of the people working there, besides the sales clerks, generally half are not the most dedicated and competent workers, so you only have to be a better worker than these people to ensure job security for the most part--and it doesn't take much effort to be one of the better workers there.
Svantaggi
Management will never let you get anywhere near 40 hours after your first 2 weeks (during which you are allowed to get close to but not exceed 40 hours, for training purposes). This means no full time benefits. I held two positions and still got paid nearly minimum wage. Management is never in a good mood, probably because someone is always breathing down their neck as well, so if you can avoid them, do.
