Working at Secure Schools allowed the rare opportunity to work closely with the founder and CEO as well as, senior management which ensures the ethics of cyber security are considered in everything they do. I worked there for 3 years in a varied role and was given a considerable amount of responsibility for someone at the early stages of their career which I was deeply appreciative of as it helped me to learn and develop many skills quickly. The Secure Schools team are a fantastic, kind group of people who are highly skilled and knowledgeable in their subject areas and are genuinely passionate about trying to help schools. Whilst working in the office or remotely you'll enjoy a positive, supportive atmosphere in which there's a great sense of morale with colleagues who cheer each other on.

Working at any start-up within its early stages requires dedication and sometimes long hours. However, it was a rare opportunity that provided me with invaluable experience that I’m grateful for and as the company increased in size, the work/life balance improved greatly.
