the hiring practices at Selectquote are borderline RACIST. several people i know have had the same experience in the interview process. as a person of color , when i walked into the sales agent interview the three managers began to pick and poke at my resume before i even sat down. maybe they are reinventing the wheel ,but i was doing what Selectquote does 15 years ago, however they insisted i wasnt qualified. for some strange reason the recruiter felt i would be a good fit, and several friends of mine that work for the company tried to explain to the hiring managers i would be more than capable of performing the role. however i truly believe, as a person of color, the hiring managers felt i would fit better in a lesser role. considering i am a UC grad, and i was using this style of sales business model over 15 years ago, i really am not sure what held them back. i personally know people in the sales role clearly less experienced, educated, qualified or capable however the common denominator seems to be skin color. i hope im wrong.

Annual bonus based on employee and company performance

Annual salary is way below national average, especially based on years of experience. They've talked about promoting all QA Analysts to QA Engineer for years (due to the fact we're all fulfilling QA Engineer roles but with the Analyst title and pay), but every year they had a new excuse as to why they couldn't promote everyone. The workload far outweighs the pay.
