- Regular aggressive outbursts and unprofessional behaviour from the CEO is normalised. Causing a really stressful and demoralising environment for employees. Staff crying is a regular occurrence - Tech team are not allowed to be involved in initial samples as the CEO does not allow this. - Micromanaging from the CEO also causing work processes to be duplicated and work checked at every stage for all of the team members. General process now much longer and slower than necessary, meaning that staff are pushed with deadlines and staff of all levels are not allowed the autonomy to complete work, make decisions about product or develop their skills - No standard process for reviews and staff turn over is very high - No HR which means all poor behaviour from CEO goes unchecked and when joining the business it is difficult to attain standard business information such as what the employer pension contributions will be - Very secretive about business progression and tech team are not allowed to attend meetings where sales and returns are discussed which makes it harder for the team to improve product and process - Very long minimum hours (9-6) when compared to other business of the same ilk. With most staff often working over time as an expectation rather than an exception with little to no thanks from senior management - As a rule there is no hybrid or flexible working offered. However, some teams seem to be allowed unfairly more flexibility. The details of this are not shared.
