Vantaggi
I like that the organization has driven founders who actively work with the teams on the ground to define the strategy and direction. As a result of this, founders are closer to reach. Additionally, the young energy the company brings is also a nice plus - where people are less stingy on exploring approaches to getting things done and are more open to figuring things out along the way.
Svantaggi
Output is driven mostly by what founders perceive to be the priority and often the prioritization for why specific things will be delivered are highly opaque. It can be a frustrating if you value outcomes over output (having a clear understanding of the why and the "should we" questions prior to "solutionizing" things so success is objectively measured), especially if you're used to working with cross-functional teams that collaborate on defining product strategy together and not it strictly only coming from the top-down without a clear rationale for the sustainable success measurement after delivery. As a result of this, people's KPIs are more about what you did and less about how it really helped move things forward for the problem space you're dealing with. I figured this is more a scale-up challenge as they figure things out moving forward, which I think they will in time.
