Vantaggi
Friendly residents and bougie living facility
Svantaggi
On my first day, I didn’t feel very welcomed as a new employee. When I arrived, the focus seemed to be more on prospective clients touring the facility rather than onboarding me as a new team member. My workspace was not prepared — the office was crowded with boxes and supplies, and I had to set up my own computer and equipment before I could begin work.
I also experienced some miscommunication during orientation around required health screenings. What I was initially told by corporate HR was later presented differently in a follow-up conversation with leadership, which created unnecessary tension so early in my employment. Within only two days of being there, I was surprised to hear feedback that people had concerns about my “attitude,” despite the limited time I had to even interact with others.
Overall, my impression was that the culture prioritized appearances and revenue over supporting staff. The onboarding process felt outdated and not employee-focused, and early miscommunications made it difficult to feel supported in the role.
