Struggle to get holidays off as it’s a max of 2 people even though this includes people who do a job that has no relation with yours Management only speak and are nice to you if you are a woman, if you’re a man they just walk past you and look down on you when you have genuine concerns No progression in the company (unless you’re somehow related to someone above operating level), if you have genuine experience and knowledge you’ll be stuck doing the same job while people under you get promoted. Very much a ‘grass culture’ in this company if you go slightly of hinged certain office staff break their necks to run and inform when you were in the wrong or ‘out of line’ Their core values encourage being heard and taking ownership, ignore this as if you do something they don’t like they’ll (management) never forget it and mark your next pay grading off this.

Not many MD is too good for the place

Ops manager is useless, bullies people, lies to them, micro managers supervisors and managers. Thinks he knows best when he doesn't know what's happening. Never works on Monday and goes home early on Friday even if there are major issues within production process. HR are lap dogs to SLT, throw everyone and anyone under the bus at the orders of SLT. Pay os not enough, especially for continental shifts as they don't believe in paying shift premiums to operators. Pay is just above minimum wage. Training is pushed to get ops through as quickly as possible with Health and Safety constantly overlooked.

- good pay -more free time (essentially working half a month) -operation staff amongst the shift patterns have great atmosphere and get along

Svantaggi

-unorganised leadership and management at times (emails , meetings , overtime etc) -lack of effective communication between office and production teams (miscommunication) - lack of understanding on a running the machines level from the office staff which results in unrealistic expectations and goals - a certain degree of micromanaging (certain members of leadership) - a stagnation of training and development opportunities
