Vantaggi
- Extremely rewarding: I've worked at several startups, there are none that have provided a better environment where the hard work I put in leads to good outcomes for my career and for the company. The combination of the team we have put together, the detail oriented nature of the upper management team, our expertise in the fraud space, and our partner relationships make SentiLink a uniquely rewarding place to work. - Mission driven: Fraudsters are a drain on society and make access to credit more expensive for the average consumer. SentiLink helps fight fraud and makes it easier for legitimate consumers to access credit as a result. Yes, this will also help financial institutions make more money. But access to credit is a win/win situation for FIs and consumers. As the child of immigrants, I do not take for granted how difficult life can be in the US without being established in the banking/credit ecosystem. - Collaborative and respectful: The team is awesome to work with - following through on timelines, bringing subject matter expertise, generally being fun and easy to work with. We are all invested in making each other successful. All meetings start and end on time at SentiLink, a trait I really appreciate because it allows me to build my meeting schedule and blocks of focus time to get stuff done, this as an amazing pro and a completely different experience than other companies I've been at.
Svantaggi
- Intense: SentiLink is on a fast growing trajectory and across the org the team is invested in its success and doe whatever it takes to ensure it. The intensity with which we work is not for everyone. - Fast paced: A true startup SentiLink isn't afraid to pivot, reallocate resources, or make quick decisions. If you want a place that is highly predictable and more deliberate, SentiLink isn't the right place for you. - Detail oriented: Upper management is very much aware of the details of execution across the company. Initiative owners have a lot of decision ownership, but nobody works in silo away from the upper management team - the details of decisions are always communicated/shared broadly. The upside of this is that when problems arise management is able to quickly provide resources and support to help resolve them. Downside is that there is nowhere to hide anywhere in the company. If you're looking to coast, don't take a ton of pride in the quality of your work, this won't be a place where you will be successful long term.
